KIU JOURNAL OF EDUCATION (KJED) is an official academic publication of Kampala International University, Uganda, and is dedicated to promoting education research. The peer-reviewed, two times in a year Journal welcomes manuscripts in the form of reports of original works, case reports/studies, reviews, research letters, as well as short reports. We also publish conferences, workshop reports, or proceedings from professional bodies or organizations that will impact academia positively. The upcoming publication issue is Vol. 6, Issue 1, 2025.

The Journal, thus, invites research scholars to submit their highly valued work or novel ideas in the domain of education. Author(s) may submit their manuscripts covering any research areas in education. Authors are advised to follow the Authors' Guidelines (www.kjed.kiu.ac.ug) in preparing manuscripts before submission and should send their manuscripts as email attachments to the Editor-in-Chief [email protected]  with a cover letter.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Word Format only. The author (s) will receive an acknowledgment of the submitted manuscript along with a manuscript identification number. After an initial review by the Editorial Board, the manuscripts that meet the Journal’s specifications will be sent to reviewers. Authors are also notified if manuscripts are adjudged not to be appropriate for review. Manuscripts shall be subjected to a pre-review assessment through a plagiarism check before sending them to three peer reviewers. If accepted, manuscripts shall be subjected to further review by the Journal Editors. We aim to complete all reviews within 7-10 weeks.
